A teaser trailer (sort of) from the short film “Kemenangan Sesungguhnya” that we produced for The Habibie Center.

DUST (working title) is an animated short film project from Zuura Pictures. DUST tells the story of BAYU, a detective obsessed about his wife’s mysterious past by digging into her memories. Written and directed by Fitrah Hardigaluh and produced by Tumpal Tampubolon & Rai Pandudita . The project is planned to finish by August.

WE WISH YOU A ROCKIN’ NEW YEAR!

MAMALIA, a short film by Zuura Pictures’ Tumpal Tampubolon, is part of the omnibus entitled BELKIBOLANG. The premiere was held at the Jakarta International Film Festival 2010. The films were co-produced by Timecode Pictures, Dermaga Films, Zuura Pictures, Babibuta Film. Congrats to Tumpal!

L PATROL AIRSCREW (Draft) This is the first draft of the L Patrol Airscrew, the robot-hunting ship in our upcoming “Z”. I wasn’t 100% happy with this design, I think it’s still a little bit too… sleek, too clean than I imagined. I wanted it to be more rigid, more stiff, more ugly. Stay tune for the new version.

“Z” (COMING SOON)

“Z” is one of our recent non-profit, self-financed projects to pursue and realize our passion in visual storytelling. It’s about the journey of a boy and a malfunctioned robot (aka Z) in search of a “treasure” in the future wasteland that was Jakarta.

I envisioned “Z” as a live-action short film. I wrote the script with that particular medium in mind, but we’re also preparing another medium to work on before rushing in to production: comic book. Yes, and I would say it’s about 35% left to completion. So look out for new updates regarding the progress on both the comic book and the short film.

Here are a few early sketches of the robots and the boy, drawn by our talented illustrator, Wisjnu.
